Store Terms of Service
These terms cover Grey TechStore shopping, accounts, products, orders, payment, delivery, pickup, cancellations, and customer support. They are specific to the store and separate from terms for Grey InfoTech’s main website.
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. About these terms
These Store Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Grey TechStore, including browsing, customer accounts, product listings, checkout, orders, delivery, pickup, and store support. They apply to the store and are separate from terms that may govern Grey InfoTech’s main website or other services.
Grey TechStore is operated by Grey InfoTech (“Grey”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the store, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the store or place an order.
These Terms are supplemented by the Store Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, product-specific information, and any terms shown by a payment provider. If a product listing or checkout confirmation gives a specific detail for your transaction, that specific detail applies to that transaction where it does not conflict with applicable law.
2. Eligibility and customer accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order. If you are not legally able to do so, a parent or legal guardian must make and supervise the purchase where permitted by law.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current account, contact, billing, and delivery information. Keep your password and account access secure, do not share your password, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent permitted by law.
Store accounts are for customers and are separate from Grey InfoTech employee, staff, and administrator accounts. We may take reasonable steps to protect the store, customers, and our systems, including restricting or suspending access where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or a material breach of these Terms. We will not use this discretion to remove rights that applicable law gives you.
3. Product listings, condition, and availability
We take reasonable care to describe products, specifications, images, prices, stock, and condition. Product images and screen displays are illustrative; actual appearance, packaging, included accessories, and minor cosmetic details may vary. Review the written listing and ask us if a material specification is unclear before ordering.
Products may be listed as brand new, refurbished, UK used, or Nigerian used. Where stated, the grade and condition notes describe the item’s disclosed condition and known issues. Grades are store descriptions, not a promise that every product has identical wear or performance. Read the complete condition notes before purchase. Any product-specific warranty or coverage must be stated in the listing or provided with the product; no additional warranty is implied by a condition label alone.
Listings and stock are subject to availability. We may correct an obvious listing, price, or stock error before accepting an order. If an error affects an order already submitted, we will contact you and explain the available options, including cancellation and any refund due. Nothing in this section limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Prices, taxes, and promotions
The applicable product price, currency, discount, delivery charge, and any displayed tax are shown during checkout before you submit the order. The final checkout total is the amount payable for that order, subject to any payment-provider terms disclosed during payment.
Promotional offers and coupon codes may be subject to eligibility, expiry, product, or order-value conditions shown with the offer. Unless an offer expressly says otherwise, offers cannot be combined and have no cash value. We may correct or withdraw an offer where it was published in error or is being misused, while honoring rights already accrued under applicable law.
You are responsible for charges imposed by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, such as currency-conversion or transaction fees. Those charges are not set by Grey TechStore.
5. Orders and contract formation
Submitting checkout information creates an order record and begins the payment process; it is not by itself a guarantee that the order has been accepted or that a product is reserved indefinitely. We may be unable to fulfill an order because of stock, pricing, payment, verification, delivery, or other operational issues.
An order is completed when the payment provider confirms successful payment and Grey TechStore confirms the order for fulfillment, subject to any cancellation or correction required by law. We may contact you to verify information or explain an issue. If we cannot fulfill a paid order, we will arrange a refund for the amount paid for the unfulfilled order, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing times.
Please check your order details before submitting checkout. Contact us promptly if you notice an error. We will make reasonable efforts to help, but changes may not be possible once an order has been processed, handed to a delivery provider, or prepared for pickup.
6. Payment
Payment methods available for an order are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by the payment provider presented during checkout, under that provider’s applicable terms and privacy practices. We receive transaction and payment-status information needed to administer the order.
Do not send full card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or one-time passcodes to Grey TechStore by email, chat, or support form. Card details entered into a secure payment form are handled for payment processing; store account and order records are not a place to save full payment-card credentials.
An order may remain unpaid or pending until payment is confirmed. Do not assume that an order is paid based only on a payment screen, bank notification, or screenshot; check the order status or contact support if confirmation is unclear.
7. Delivery and store pickup
Choose delivery or store pickup at checkout where offered. For delivery, provide a complete address and reachable contact details. The delivery fee, if any, is displayed before the order is submitted. Delivery estimates are indicative unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date.
For pickup, select the available date and time requested at checkout. Pickup is not complete until we confirm the arrangement and tell you that the order is ready. Bring the order reference and any reasonable proof of identity or authorization requested to release the goods. Do not travel to collect an order before receiving confirmation.
You are responsible for ensuring that someone can receive a delivery or collect a confirmed pickup. If delivery or pickup is delayed, unavailable, or unsuccessful, contact support so we can discuss reasonable next steps. Any additional delivery or re-delivery charge will be disclosed before it is applied.
Ownership and risk in the goods transfer as provided by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms transfers risk to you before the goods are delivered to you or collected by you where the law requires otherwise.
8. Order cancellation, returns, and refunds
The store may allow an online cancellation only while an order is pending and its payment status is unpaid, pending, or failed. If the online cancellation option is no longer available, contact support as soon as possible. A cancellation request does not take effect until it is confirmed.
If you have paid and want to cancel, return, or report a problem with an item, contact us with your order reference and a description of the issue. We will explain the applicable process and any inspection or return steps. Return eligibility, remedies, and timing depend on the circumstances, the product, any product-specific terms, and applicable consumer law.
Where a refund is due, it will generally be returned through the original payment method where practicable. Processing time may depend on the payment provider or financial institution. We will not use these Terms to exclude, reduce, or delay a refund or remedy required by applicable law.
Please contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from its listing. Keep the product and packaging where reasonably possible while we assess the issue. This request does not limit any mandatory rights or time limits that apply under law.
9. Warranties and consumer rights
Any manufacturer or seller warranty available for a particular item will be described in the listing or accompanying documentation, including its provider, scope, and applicable process where that information is available. Contact support for help identifying the appropriate route for a warranty claim.
Products remain subject to statutory rights and protections that apply to your purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, guarantee, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
10. Acceptable use and reviews
Use the store lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt its operation, interfere with another person’s account, bypass security or access controls, submit false information, misuse promotions, introduce malicious code, or use the store to infringe another person’s rights.
If you submit a review or other content, you must have the right to submit it and it must be truthful to the best of your knowledge, relevant, and lawful. Do not include another person’s private information, unlawful content, or material that is abusive or misleading. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that content for store operation and promotion, subject to applicable law. You retain ownership of your content.
We may decline to publish or may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. A review is not guaranteed publication, and review moderation does not mean we endorse its statements.
11. Intellectual property and third-party services
The store’s text, design, branding, graphics, and software are owned by or licensed to Grey InfoTech and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the store for personal, lawful shopping purposes; no other rights are granted except as required by law.
The store may link to or rely on third-party services, including Clerk authentication, payment, delivery, and external websites. Those services are controlled by their providers and may have separate terms. We are not responsible for independent third-party services, but this does not affect our responsibilities for the store or the order you place with us.
12. Privacy and cookies
Our collection and use of personal information for store services is explained in the Store Privacy Policy. Store cookie choices can be managed through the “Manage Cookies” control in the store footer. These Terms should be read together with those notices.
13. Service availability and liability
We aim to keep the store available and information accurate, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, technical issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may update, suspend, or discontinue a store feature where reasonably necessary.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was formed. This does not limit liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural events, government action, disruption to communications or transport, or failure of a third-party service. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and communicate material order effects.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the store, our practices, or legal requirements. The current version and its last-updated date will appear on this page. Changes apply from publication unless a later effective date is stated. Changes will not retroactively alter an order contract already formed, except where required by law or agreed with you.
15. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without excluding any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts, while this clause does not prevent either party from using any consumer complaint or alternative dispute-resolution process available under applicable law.
